When it comes the raising cattle; we keep getting older, but they stay the same age. Simply put, we don’t have the time or energy to deal with crazy cattle. For over 30 years, we’ve deployed a low stress handling system, resulting in bulls that are familiar with humans and used to being handled easily in close quarters.
All three bulls had great dispositions and when we need a new bull, he will be another RC bull!! Thank you Joe for the pleasure your bulls have brought us over the years and in building up our herd.
The calves perform well, with noticeably larger calves at weaning time. This combination of performance matched with the docility and longevity make it hard for me select anything other than a River Creek Bull for my herd.
The bulls we bought this year are doing great. Really stout made bulls that are very easy to be around. We have been buying bulls from River Creek Farms for 25+ years. The bulls are always ready to work when you get them. They are always gentle and birth weights are moderate.
